New LEGO NINJAGO Days, Star Wars Days expansion announced as part of 2018 slate of Legoland Florida events

Brand new events and returning favorites featuring all your favorite LEGO characters are in store for all guests in 2018 at Legoland Florida Resort!

The popular Winter Haven theme park announced their full list of special events and openings for the upcoming calendar year and in a word, it’s going to be AWESOME!

Kicking off the year will be the all-new LEGO NINJAGO Days taking place January 20-21, 27-28 and February 3-4 that will celebrate the hugely popular TV series and hit movie. Come hang out with some of your favorite ninjas Kai, Nya, and even Master Wu!

But that’s not all for NINJAGO fans because a brand new 4D movie experience will also be coming to LEGOLAND Florida when “LEGO NINJAGO: Master of the 4th Dimension” opens at the Wells Fargo Fun Town Theater on January 20.

Another new attraction coming to Legoland Florida is The Great LEGO Race in the Spring combining a roller coaster ride with the latest virtual reality technology. Click here for more details on this brand new experience arriving soon.

A popular family event makes its glorious return with the Brick Dash 5K coming April 14 benefitting Merlin’s Magic Wand — the global children’s charity of LEGOLAND’s parent company Merlin Entertainments — and featuring a new sponsor, Visit Central Florida. KIDZ BOP Weekend is returning for its second year with three days of exclusive concerts and meet-and-greets with the world’s most popular kids band! Exact dates have yet to be revealed but we do know the KIDZ BOP crew will debut their brand new official theme song “Awesome Awaits” for Legoland Florida Resort.

Star Wars will be a huge part of Legoland Florida in 2018 with the addition of brand new LEGO models inspired by “The Force Awakens” at the Star Wars MINILAND Model Display at the heart of the theme park. Not only that, LEGO Star Wars Days will be expanding for a record three weekends of galactic fun at the park on May 5-6, 12-13, and 19-20 featuring meet-and-greets with LEGO Darth Vader and a brand new opportunity to meet a LEGO character from “The Force Awakens” and “The Last Jedi”!

Fourth of July will be celebrated with a gigantic fireworks display over Lake Eloise and guests can also help create a massive U.S. flag out of thousands of LEGO bricks.

Halloween is just around the corner this year and Brick of Treat will also be returning for its seventh year in 2018 for select October dates. This family-friendly event is bursting with Halloween events throughout the park such as trick-or-treating, unique meet-and-greet opportunities with LEGO characters, LEGO build activities and a special fireworks show.

The popular Christmas Bricktacular holiday celebration will also be returning in December of 2018 with a huge 30-foot-tall LEGO Christmas tree boasting a LEGO wreath and a full-size LEGO Santa, reindeer and sleigh. Guests can partake in holiday-themed scavenger hunts in order to score LEGO prizes as well as meet LEGO Santa and LEGO Toy Soldiers.

Finally, guests can celebrate the end of the year with the expanded Kids’ New Year’s Party during select dates in late December. There’s going to be a dance party, a special scavenger hunt in MINILAND USA as well as fireworks. Legoland will ring in the new year on Monday, December 31 with their traditional before-midnight “brick drop” and a spectacular fireworks display for the big night.

All these events with the exception of the Brick Dash are included with general park admission or the annual pass.
