The fun-filled annual Christmas Bricktacular event has come to Legoland Florida this December with holiday-themed decorations and special activities throughout the popular Winter Haven theme park. We were eager to take part in the scavenger hunt on opening day but first things first, the kids had to immediately write their letter to Santa Claus and mail it off to the North Pole.
Right next to the mailbox was Storytime with Mrs Claus at the DUPLO Tot Spot, where she told a heartwarming story about Christmas that was a hit with all the children because of the audience participation. Also taking place at the Duplo area was photo opportunities with Santa’s LEGO sled and reindeer and a holiday brick building station for guests to try their hand at winning a LEGO prize pack.
We soon spotted the first Lego elf that was part of the scavenger hunt.
There was a surprising blizzard of sorts at Fun Town, which is also near where we lined up to meet up with LEGO Santa Claus and Toy Soldier, among the other Christmas photo ops nearby. This was also the place to try out many of Legoland’s seasonal beverages and treats were available.
Not to be missed, along with all the other fun stuff you get to do all year long at Legoland Florida of course, was the Christmas Tree Spectacular light show taking place several times near the end of the day at the park.
Remaining dates for the Christmas Bricktacular this year are December 9-10, 16-17, and 23-25. All of this awesomeness is included with park admission and there’s also VIP experiences which include exclusive meet and greets with more LEGO characters as well as a unique opportunity to build a special holiday kit with a Master Model Builder while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies. The adjacent Legoland Hotel also has exclusive holiday offerings including Cookies with Mrs. Claus and the Christmas Boardwalk Tour.
